Abstract Submission Instructions

The deadline for submitting abstracts to the BEM 2005 conference ended January 30. Abstracts are no longer being accepted.

Abstracts should be uploaded through this form as documents in Microsoft Word (*.doc) only. The document that you upload should follow strictly the guidelines in the example pdf and should be named as follows:

"lastnameoffirstauthor_firstinitialoffirstauthor.doc" [all lowercase letters]
(e.g., "smith_g.doc" for a paper with a first author named Greg A. Smith)

All text in the document should be 12 point in size and Times New Roman or Symbol fonts. Text can include only superscripts, subscripts, symbols, and italicized terms (no bold or underline). DO NOT include images or equations produced by Microsoft Equation Editor or similar programs. Document margins should be one inch on all sides. Any documents that do not conform to the guidelines will be returned.

The absolute abstract deadline for both oral and poster presentations is 11:59 PM (EST) on January 30, 2005.

Final session topics are subject to change based on the number of abstracts submitted to each topic. For Special Sessions, some number of invited presentations will be scheduled for each session, but authors interested in these session topics may submit contributed presentations for consideration. Authors who submit to these sessions are encouraged to correspond with the respective coordinator prior to submission.
